Master Maintenance Plumber

About the Role

This role handles the highest-priority service orders and ensures every plumbing system we touch meets state code. You will interface directly with facility directors, author repair scopes, and close projects with detailed commissioning reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on water heaters, grease interceptors, booster pumps, and domestic piping.
• Provide repair quotes, secure customer approval, and pull permits when required.
• Coach apprentices through brazing, sweating, and hydrostatic testing techniques.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Texas Master Plumber license in good standing.
• 10+ years of commercial plumbing experience with backflow certification.
• Strong documentation habits and familiarity with tablet-based service software.
• Ability to travel within 150 miles of Austin as needed.
