    Lead Emergency Electrician

    Respond to critical outages, switchgear failures, and life-safety repairs for enterprise clients on a rotating 24/7 schedule.

    About the Role

    The Lead Emergency Electrician diagnoses complex electrical failures, stabilizes the site, and restores service safely. You will coordinate with utility providers, manage apprentices, and capture detailed reports for insurance documentation.

    Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot switchgear, motor controls, and lighting control systems.
    • Coordinate lockout/tagout and lead root-cause investigations.
    • Prepare remedial scopes, parts lists, and cost estimates within 12 hours of incident.
    • Train junior electricians on emergency response best practices.

    Requirements

    • Texas Master Electrician license or ability to obtain within six months.
    • Extensive experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.
    • Ability to remain calm during high-pressure service calls.
    • Strong documentation habits, including photo and infrared reporting.
